About Us

Awwam Care offers a complete care and education package if required by the individual. We provide small homes for one to four children with high staffing ratios to guarantee the required level of care. We are situated in Middlesex, on local bus routes and close to local amenities. Typically, we provide long-term placements; however, we can consider emergency or short-term placements if needed, based on our impact assessment.

We have developed a practical, evidence-based approach to care which has resulted in us becoming the first-call company for local authorities.

We are focused on providing the standard of care we know children require. With this in mind, we only offer solo or dual occupancy in our homes with a base minimum of one-to-one care. Our homes are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment where children can lead independent and positive lives.

Education is so crucial to a young person’s development. We endeavour to keep our clients in mainstream schools, but we can facilitate ‘ECHP’ specialist schools for those who have been excluded or need more comprehensive support.

Our Team

All our children’s homes are registered with Ofsted here at Awwam Care. We offer twenty-four-hour round-the-clock support with a minimum of two staff members on duty at any time.

All our staff are thoroughly trained and qualified, and their empathetic approach to ensuring quality care has established us as a leader in our field. Our recruitment process enables us to hire the most professional and driven staff and ensures we also support them to provide an exceptional level of care and support.

Aims and Objectives:

Incident management

Incident Management is key to ensuring your workspace remains a safe environment. Through this, we identify potential risks and collaborate to put in place preventative measures. Our Incident Management team studies the issues and measures their potential impact on our services. Through their expert guidance and knowledge, we can make our environment less vulnerable to potential negative occurring’s.

Compliance

Awwam Care Children’s Homes are inspected and assessed by regulators and assurance staff. All our facilities meet the national regulatory standards of compliance, and our director of compliance monitors our services and helps us ensure the best possible rates of compliance.

Compliance inspectors

Compliance Inspectors analyse and assess our services, ensuring our facilities and services align with the national standards. We can build on feedback from inspectors and focus on areas that require attention or improvement. We want to ensure a consistent, safe and compliant service.

Internal inspection

Any site at risk of non-compliance is subjected to an internal inspection. Compliance Inspectors conduct an in-depth analysis of any areas that require improvements and monitor them. After, they provide us with solutions that we can apply to ensure our facilities remain compliant and safe.

Experienced specialists

The quality of the work we offer at Awwam Care helps us stand out from the crowd. Our skilled professionals maintain vast experience dealing with children across the autism spectrum. Whether clients have autism or learning difficulties, we ensure they receive maximum care and support tailored to their requirements.

Our outstanding workforce is the main reason we have built a stellar reputation. They communicate with children to better understand their stresses or anxiety. Through transparent and sensitive communication with children, we can build genuine, trusting relationships, providing bespoke, personal care.

All Awwam Care staff attend our training programme. Our employees enhance their knowledge and expertise through this innovative programme and are motivated and involved in the services we offer. You can only be as good as the service your staff provide, and we owe our reputation to the phenomenal services our employees deliver.

Our Aim and Objectives

As well as supporting individuals, we also place significance on their personal development. Initially, clients are assisted with regular tasks such as eating, dressing and washing. We then support them with activities that encourage their thinking, building on their independence. We want all our clients to feel independent, confident and valued. We want to make a lasting improvement in their lives and ensure this by helping our children with education and securing employment opportunities.

Complaint management

At Awwam Care, we treat all complaints with the utmost significance and seek ways to resolve them efficiently. All complaints are handled with professionalism and respect while promptly attending to our client’s concerns.

Our Duty

Here at Awwam Care, our services are built around the clients that use them, ensuring a tailored and supportive care quality that caters to each individual. Our duty is to provide a personalised and compassionate support system for people aged sixteen and above that involves and listens to them. Cooperation is vital in constructing an honest relationship between the client and carer, which is key to their progression and our reputation. We want to deliver genuinely empathetic care, with service users rights at the core of every service we provide. This is our driving goal and what we aim to achieve every day.
